My antique notecards represent the timeless beauty that I envision in the world around me. Many images chosen are of garden flowers passed from generation to generation or that have been transplanted into my own friendship garden. Other photos in this line represent moments and things remembered or forgotten in time. It was my intention to target that instant - that split second when as you are going through your day, you suddenly sigh ... then take a deep breath and just savor it, because it (that moment) was not affected by the passage of time.
When I created this line of cards, my first thought was that a card chosen from it would make a perfect companion to a very inexpensive and thoughtful gift. That gift is a favorite plant dug up from your garden to be transplanted into a 'friendship garden' at a friends home or to a family member's garden as a generational gift. A garden that is filled with Grandpa's daffodils, Grandma's mums or your girlfriend Trudy's black-eyed susan is truly a garden to treasure and share.
One of my antique notecards can be used to acknowledge a milestone or memorable "special moment" in someone's life, or to show you are just happy to be a season or part of someone's life. You can use them to express your feelings about those 'savored moments' remembered, or to apologize for those unintentionally forgotten.
